GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE 2021
GSCM is an International Conference that hosts experts in the domain of Operations & SCM from different parts of the world. GSCM is an international platform that aims to bring together researchers, scientists, professional scholars, industrial participants, and budding students worldwide, providing them with a platform to share their experiences, new ideas, research findings in the domain of operations, and supply chain management.

The world subtly adjusted to online mode, and so did the conference. The event was held virtually on 18th December 2020. The Covid-19 Pandemic brought a substantial change in the digital revolution and witnessed businesses shift from conventional operations and supply chains. In the light of these developments, the theme for the conference was ‘Business Transformation and Operational Excellence.’

Prof Sriram Narayanan (Director - Operations and Sourcing Management PhD Program, Michigan State University) elaborated his research by focussing on productivity improvement and Consumer behaviour. The keynote address revolved around “Disability Inclusion in Supply chain.”

Dr Hitesh Bhatt (Director – Marketing and communications, Retailers Association of India, Editorial Director STOrai) emphasized the acceleration of transforming the linear supply chain into a digital supply network.

Mr Neelaj Sengupta (Head, Corporate SCM & LMC), Jaideep Deshmukh (Manager, Logistics Management Centre) & Mr Swapnil Nikharge (Deputy General Manager, Logistics Management Centre) from Larsen & Toubro (L&T) shared their experience of working on 2 mammoth international projects.
